CHILD OUT OF TIME DEBUTS AT #1 ON THE AMAZON CHART!

Wow. What a couple of days it’s been. Child Out Of Time, my third book and first on my beloved Doctor Who, was released on Monday (16th) and it’s only gone and debuted in the top spot on the Amazon chart!

The kindle version of my memoir on the wilderness years of the Time Lord went straight to the top in the Television and Radio category of children’s book, beating a novel by kids TV legend Floella Benjamin and books on Harry Potter, Pokemon and Buffy the Vampire Slayer!

The paperback version has also taken off, entering the charts in fifth place!

Child Out of Times Number 1

I cannot thank everyone enough for buying, talking about, tweeting and generally saying such nice things about the book. There’s another surprise in store tomorrow too!

CHILD OUT OF TIME: MY DOCTOR WHO BOOK RELEASED 16TH OCTOBER!

child_out_of_time_ebook (3)CHILD OUT OF TIME: GROWING UP WITH DOCTOR WHO IN THE WILDERNESS YEARS OUT ON 16TH OCTOBER!

For 26 years, DOCTOR WHO was a British institution, capturing the imaginations of generations of children.

But then, in 1989, it was cancelled. The Doctor and his on-screen adventures were no more.

There was no longer a hero, a champion for the outcasts who struggled to fit in. It was as though he had walked into his TARDIS and set his controls for dematerialisation, never to return: a whole generation lost to the powers of Science Fiction’s greatest creation.

It was in this Doctor-less world that I grew up.

This is the story of how one little boy would try to find the Doctor in any way, shape or form and the obstacles he faced in doing so.

This is the story of growing up without Doctor Who in the Wilderness Years…and how I lived through it.

Featuring cover art by Doctor Who author Paul Magrs and a foreword by Doctor Who author Andrew Smith, this is one all Who fans will not want to miss!

Available from Amazon and all good bookstores in paperback and ebook. £5.99.
